Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the more productive linebackers across Southeast Georgia, Johnson is a major weapon at linebacker who hunts the ball-carrier and consistently gets them to the ground. Like Hogg, his size and speed won’t drop any jaws, but he’s a steady player who plays hard, shows strong instincts, and a natural feel for the position. He made an outstanding 127 tackles and six sacks this season to go along with four sacks and three forced fumbles. Ranked as the No. 41 LB prospect in the state, Johnson could see some possible D1 interest and offers come his way in 2026.

An undersized South Georgia linebacker having a really strong junior season so far, Johnson is a speedy linebacker who has a knack for making plays. He’s impressive in pursuit, shows above-average strength for his size, and does a good job of making a play on the ball. Through his first four games, the Brunswick native has made 48 tackles, three TFLs, one sack and an impressive three forced fumbles. He’s active, consistent, and never gives up on a play. He’s been a productive member of the Brunswick defense and could be in store for a breakout junior season if he keeps piling up strong numbers.
