Duffy is the top unsigned, and still unoffered LB, still on the board in Nevada’s 2025 class. Finished among the state’s most productive tacklers in each of the past two seasons, including 143 total tackles (92 solo) and 16 TFLs as a senior. Extremely physical run defender that likes to get downhill between the OTs and create havoc around the LOS. He’s quick to react to his reads, can beat blockers to the spot with his first step, and hammers ball-carriers in the lane. Duffy’s a severely underrated prospect that offers the potential to develop into an effective run-stopper at the next level.

Duffy took a gameday visit to Montana on Nov. 18th. Faith Lutheran’s senior ILB is one of the most prolific tacklers in the state with over 300 total tackles, 46 TFLs, and 4 INTs in his three years as a starter. He’s a physical thumper between the OTs that’s at his best as a downhill run defender. Duffy’s drawn interest from several D-I programs but is still one of the top unoffered defenders in Nevada’s senior class.

Duffy checks in as the top unoffered LB in PRZ NV’s latest 2025 rankings after finishing among the state’s leaders in tackles (167 total, 126, solo) and TFLs (24) as a junior. He’s a highly productive defender that can create negative plays in the backfield as a between-the-OTs downhill run-stuffer and flashes his range and lateral speed in coverage. He’s a high-IQ defender that can diagnose, shed and avoid traffic, and stop ball-carriers in their tracks with his hitting power. Duffy’s attracted interest from several D-I programs including Nevada and Utah and should be due for his first offer with another productive season for Faith Lutheran.

Duffy has gained a lot of D1 interest this off-season as the Junior LB looks to gain his first offer. Duffy is a physical player with a lean frame and great ability to redirect his hips. Look for Duffy to start receiving offers and to have a dominating senior campaign for Faith Lutheran HS.

Duffy was the state’s leader in tackles with 167 total (126 solo) and TFLs (24) as a junior. He’s an active ILB that excels as a downhill run-stopper between the OTs and shows the range to tackle sideline-to-sideline. He’s an intelligent defender that can read/diagnose the backfield and is quick to trigger to the football. He meets ball-carriers in the hole with force and possesses a strong, athletic frame at 6’/210. Duffy, who’s drawn interest from UNLV and NAU, should be on the offer radar as an important offseason continues to shake out for the junior LB.

Nick Duffy Nick Duffy 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Faith Lutheran | 2025 State NV lit up Nevada’s defensive statistics this fall. I wrote about him recently but revisited the tape and was impressed with his junior season. He was invited to Fresno State and Northern Arizona games this fall, so be on the lookout for more schools in the region to be in contact with him in 2024. Good shed, power, and tackling ability gets displayed fighting through contact and stopping running backs at the line of scrimmage. Quickness and next level acceleration gets displayed redirecting to disrupt the catchpoint in zone coverage. Nick’s size, speed, and instincts gives him the potential to play both inside linebacker spots in college.
