Perkins has continued to flash promising traits and skills for his RT position this season. He’s a run-first OT with good size and strength to his 6’4″/270 frame. He looks a bit heavy on his feet in pass pro which might cause some problems against fast, athletic rushers at the next level but he possesses the anchor to neutralize oncoming power-rushers off the edge. He shows his lateral mobility sealing the edge on reach blocks and can eliminate defenders on down blocks. Perkins is a player to look at for programs looking for physical upside at the OT position.

Perkins was a new addition to the 2025 OL rankings after putting together a strong junior season at RT for Faith Lutheran. He possesses useful length and flexibility in his athletic frame (6’4”/255), demonstrates power creating push off the ball, has the range to seal the edge on reach blocks, and is a nasty finisher at the POA. He does well identifying/picking up stunts in pass protection and picking up blocks at the second level in the run game. He shows good foundational fundamentals but needs to continue to polish his footwork and overall technique. Perkins could continue to climb the state’s OL rankings with another strong season in the fall.
