is an incredibly well-rounded back for Faith Lutheran. He has an extra gear that defenders simply can’t match that often has him pulling away from his opponents any time he gets a sliver of space. When defenders are able to get their hands on him, he has a strong enough base and possesses the balance to rip right through any arm tackles. Having the power to run people over and also the agility to leave them grasping at air, Breslin is a constant threat to score. Coming off a junior season where he averaged over 120 total yards a game, the Yale commit is set to leave his mark in his final high school season.

Breslin picked up five D-I offers this offseason after rushing for over 1,200 yards and 10 TDs as a junior for Faith Lutheran. The BYU-commit is PRZ-NV’s top RB prospect in the state with his high-level combination of speed and athleticism out of the backfield. He shows great vision at the LOS, hits the hole with burst, and possesses the elusiveness to rip off explosive gains. Breslin’s one of the top offensive playmakers in the state heading into the 2024 season.

Breslin handled 30 carries for 217 yards and 2 TDs in Faith Lutheran’s 37-0 blowout of Green Valley in the 5A D-II South Region final. The standout junior RB also totaled 168 yards and 2 TDs in the semifinal over Foothill. He’s an exceptional runner between the OTs where he shows great vision at the LOS and hits the hole with speed and burst. He has light, quick feet and can bounce to the edge when needed. Breslin’s playing his best football at the right time heading into Faith Lutheran’s 5A D-II state championship matchup with a strong Bishop Manogue squad.

He has been invited to games at Utah State and Fresno State this fall and also received interest from Navy & Columbia University. Cale’s good combination of speed, strength, and burst is sure to be on full display during round two of the playoffs. Good vision, power, toughness, and lateral quickness allow Cale to evade tacklers a variety of ways in the open field.
