Verax has shown impressive ball placement, regardless of where he is throwing to on the field, putting the ball in a spot where only his intended receiver can catch it. He has also shown the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Nathan also showed impressive dual-threat ability as a junior, running the ball 131 times for 599 yards and seven touchdowns. Verax has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up this summer.

Verax is very impressive when rolling out of the pocket, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field to make accurate throws on the run. He also throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field and hit his receivers in stride. Nathan doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as he steps into the starting role.
