Smith is a gunslinger who isn’t afraid to let it rip. He plays with a lot of confidence and never looks hesitant to challenge a defense when he sees an opportunity. He has the arm talent to make most of the throws and already looked comfortable as a freshman. If he makes a mistake, he doesn’t let it linger. He comes right back and keeps firing, which is a trait many quarterbacks struggle to develop. He’s not the most polished QB you’ve ever seen, but he’s talented, can make the throws, and has the confidence. In my opinion, it’s a lot easier to coach a guy on what throw not to attempt than it is to try to convince a guy to let it rip. I really liked Smith’s year 1 tape.

While Dillon terrorized Quarterbacks at Ryle, Brody will be doing the terrorizing as a signal caller. He features of the most beautiful throwing motions and releases in the state of Kentucky for this 2029 class. Arm strength is exception for this age and level, as his highlight film features him accurately throwing the ball nearly 40-yards with a simple flick of the wrist.
