The big interior lineman from Gahanna Lincoln has had a strong week picking up Power 4 offers from Louisville, Kentucky, and Colorado. It feels like this is only the start for Burrell. He possesses not just the size and strength to play at the highest level but he’s a violent finisher. I’d expect Matthias to continue to stack offers as this offseason continues.

Matthias has gotten some P4 attention throughout the 2025 season. He plays at RT for the Lions. He’s a great downhill run blocker. He drives his feet off contact and can push with pure power. As a pass blocker, he drives rushers off their path and can clean them out from the play entirely. Even with his rush ability as a defensive tackle, Matthias has done even better work as an offensive tackle this season.

For a 15-year-old sophomore Burrell is already a physically imposing figure. I love the way this young man plays the game. He plays violent and with a real nasty streak. He’s not just looking to execute his block he’s looking to bury his man. Burrell lines up at guard for the Stallions. In the run game he’s a devastating puller who does a great job of getting down the line and blowing up his man. When he has a man lined head up he plays with great pad level and has the strength to stand his man up and blow them off the ball. Matthias anchors well and is strong in the pass game. Burrell currently has 4 MAC offers and has a P4 offer from Kentucky. With what Burrell put on film as a sophomore, if he can put together some solid summer college camps I’d be surprised if he didn’t blow up on the P4 scene this summer.
