is a Class of 2027 prospect for Big Walnut High School who is a strong offensive tackle. Green is a very good run blocker who can latch onto defenders and effectively drive them off the ball, creating vertical movement in the run game. He has a good first step and can be a mauler. A very high-academic prospect, he helped paved the way for an offense that rushed for 2,504 yards and a team that finished 13-2 last season; he earned his sixth Division II offer from Tiffin.

Matt was a key versatile piece for the Golden Eagles’ offense. Due to injury, he played the first six weeks as a center, then moved back out to left tackle for the final four weeks. He’s an athletic offensive linemen who can move well. He’s physical on contact and does a great job at using strength and momentum to eliminate his man from the play. He’s a strong run blocker who creates huge holes for his rushing attack to run through.

Big Walnut made a big run to the D2 State Semifinals. Green was a key player on the Golden Eagles offensive line. He lined up at both the left and right tackle positions. As o fright now I’d project Green to the interior offensive line at the college level, but he has the athleticism to play tackle if he continues to grow and get taller. Where Green shines is in the run game. He plays with a good pad level and possesses the athleticism to both pull and get to the second level. When he locks in, he has the strength to drive his man out of the play. I’m excited to see what future holds for this versatile offensive lineman.
