About Mason

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Extremely hard worker and team player. I always want to be the first one there and the last to leave. I’m always looking for a way to get extra work in; always wanting to better myself and my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

NHS Invitation, Presidential Academic Honors Awards both 7th and 8th grade year, Nominated for Hawk of the Week my 9th grade year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was a 2025 football captain. I frequently volunteer to do community service with both my Lakota East football team and basketball team. My coaches have said I am one they can always count on to do the right thing and to lead by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This season the coaches were looking for someone to step in and play corner. I had not played on defense since 3rd grade and prefer to play WR (our team had a lot of players wanting to play WR). I stepped up and worked hard and earned both a starting position on defense and offense (1 of only 3 players to play both ways).
