Marrio shows a good combination of size, power, and explosiveness running through ball carriers with ferocity. Good instincts and closing speed gets displayed pursuing outside runs from an inside linebacker alignment.

Marrio has received interest from the University of Nevada, and I would expect more schools outside of Reno to recruit the dominant defender after the postseason ends. Marrio has been a productive pass rusher throughout the postseason, and I noticed his strength and closing speed right away pressuring opponents’ QBs off the edge. Good power and lateral quickness gets displayed stunning OL with his punch. Marrio’s instincts, athletic change of direction, and tackling ability allows him to play all over the second level in college; Expect for Marrio’s impressive run defense skillset to give Faith’s rushing attack problems this afternoon

Williams led a strong defensive effort for Bishop Manogue with 6 total tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and 4.5 sacks in the Miners’ 48-14 win over McQueen. He was extremely disruptive in the backfield shooting through interior gaps and playing aggressively downhill. #1-Bishop Manogue vs. #2-Spanish Springs in the D-II North Region championship will feature two of the top tacklers in the state in Williams and 2026 LB Kyler Depaepe.

Marrio has been receiving interest from Southern Utah and the University of Nevada on social media this fall, and I would expect more schools in the region to start reaching out well before his season is finished. Marrio’s rare combination of size, strength, and closing speed was on full display bringing down Spanish Springs ball carriers. Good power showed stunning offensive linemen as a blitzer, highlighting Marrio’s pass rush potential. Coaches like Marrio’s length and shed technique that shows in run defense.

Marrio has also been on a game day visit to Nevada and attended a mega camp at Sacramento State. Marrio’s textbook inside linebacker projection shows in good speed and a quick change of direction when pursuing outside runs. Next level strength shows in Marrio’s shed and finish as a tackler, while good feet and balance allow him to square up ball carriers in space. Good awareness and acceleration shows quickly recognizing running back screens and finishing tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
