I am amazed Furious Hoskins Furious Hoskins 6’1″ | 180 lbs | WR Palo Verde | 2024 State NV has not received scholarship offers. The two-way starter had over 800 yards this year and I have not seen one speck of social media attention for the versatile prospect. Be on the lookout for coaches to reach out to Furious before spring gets here. Furious’ vision and top speed makes him a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Quick feet and a fast change of direction allows Furious to separate from defenders at the top of routes. Furious’ hands, explosiveness, and adjustment ability at the catchpoint allows him to line up at multiple receiver positions in college.
James Keau Hadley Keau Hadley 5’10” | 190 lbs | LB Shadow Ridge | 2024 State NV is one of the hardest-hitting defenders in Vegas without a home. James went on a visit to Montana Tech and received an offer from McPherson College just last month. Still, it surprises me more schools have not come in late to the versatile linebacker’s recruitment. James’ combination of instincts, power, quickness, and closing speed suggests he has all the tools to be a three-down linebacker in college. Next level length & strength shows stunning blockers with his punch in the run box. Coaches will revisit the tape and love James’ combination of burst and physicality that shows exploding through tackles at the point of attack.
Highlights
Marrio Williams Jr. Marrio Williams Jr. 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Bishop Manogue | 2024 State NV had over ten sacks during a state championship winning season. Lincoln University offered him in December, but I am surprised more schools surrounding Nevada have not shown him attention. Expect Marrio to be a steal for whichever school gets him to commit before he graduates. Good balance, quickness, and tackling ability gets displayed mirroring ball carriers in space. Marrio shows a good combination of size, power, and explosiveness running through ball carriers with ferocity. Good instincts and closing speed gets displayed pursuing outside runs from an inside linebacker alignment.
Tarrell Mack-Lovely Tarrell Mack-Lovely 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Foothill | 2024 State NV is an underrated playmaker out of Clark County. He received a scholarship offer from Minnesota-Duluth last spring, but I am surprised more schools in the region have not been in contact with Tarrell. Be on the lookout for schools close to Nevada to come in late this spring. Tarrell’s quickness, footwork, and explosive change of direction highlights his next level separation ability. Good long speed and tracking ability shows easily adjusting to vertical throws after getting behind defenders. Tarrell shows good size, balance, strength, and toughness taking catches over the middle, up the field, and through traffic for positive yardage.
Evan Baalbaky Evan Baalbaky 6’3″ | 205 lbs | ATH The Meadows School | 2024 State NV was dominant on both sides of the ball during the 2023 season. With over 900 yards I am surprised his offensive recruitment has not picked up this winter. Offensive coaches in need of a versatile tight end would be ecstatic to get Evan to commit this winter. Next level long speed gets displayed successfully gaining vertical separation on defenders after executing a double move. Evan’s explosiveness shows splitting defenders for touchdowns on easy underneath catches. Lateral quickness, strength, good length, and athleticism at the catchpoint highlights Evan’s potential to develop into a true redzone threat in college.
