Carey is an up-and-coming OT that continues to rise the 2027 ranks with the high-upside physical skillset he brings to the table. He’s a physical blocker on the edge that possesses useful length to his 6’4″/260 frame and can control defenders with his hands and natural strength. He’ll need to continue to develop his footwork particularly when he’s out in space and working up to the second level but is an effective run blocker in tight spaces. Carey should see his recruiting interest rise as he continues to develop heading into his senior season.

Carey was added to the PRZ NV 2027 rankings after proving to be a stalwart RT for Bishop Manogue this season. He’s a big body at 6’4″/260 that can open running lanes on the perimeter with his ability to eliminate DEs and OLBs and work up to the second level. He does a good job of walling off the edge in pass protection but would like to see him improve his footwork, pad level, and initial strike ahead of his senior season. Carey could see programs recruit him as a future OG given his current measurables and skillset.
