The 6’4″/315 two-way trench player out of Bishop Manogue was a breakout DT last season showing the power and disruptiveness he brings to the d-line. Totaled 23 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 7 TFLs as a junior. He shows his strength and leverage driving OL off the ball, can occupy and make plays off double-teams, and has impressive range for his imposing frame. Cherry picked up his first pair of offers from Army and Northern Arizona in recent months and should continue to raise his stock on the recruiting trail over the course of the offseason.

Cherry picked up his first D-I offer from Northern Arizona this week. The 6’3″/310 DT out of Bishop Manogue was a new addition to the overall top-50 rankings after a breakout junior season in the fall. Tallied 23 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 7 TFLs in 2025. He’s a big, physical defender along the interior that’s extremely violent with his hands, sheds and locates the ball with urgency, and can drive interior OL off the ball with his power and leverage. Expect Cherry to continue to generate buzz on the recruiting trail with the physicality he brings to the DL.

Cherry broke out as a two-way player in the trenches for Bishop Manogue this season. The junior DT/OG is a strong, powerful presence at 6’3″/310 that excels as an interior run stopper with his ability to create a push off the ball and dominate at the POA. He’s violent with his hands, shows decent lateral range getting down the line, and looks to punish defenders on the offensive side of the ball. Cherry possesses the size, power, and physicality to play either side of the ball at the next level.
