put on a brilliant performance by making 6 catches for 107 yards. While they lost the matchup, Camden can still end their season on a good note by taking down rival Camden Eastside. Malik is one of the most impressive receivers of the entire Thanksgiving slate. A crisp route runner that can get in and out of breaks with speed, Malik can redirect defenders in the secondary, forcing them away from the route and giving himself a huge window to throw into. Just as impressive, Malik is a YAC specialist. Once the ball is in Malik’s hands, anything is possible. Malik can apply that same quickness that he uses in his routes to make sharp cuts to navigate through traffic. Malik can turn a 5 yard curl into a 50 yard gain easy. With 40 receptions on the season, Malik turned that volume into 758 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns.

. Camden struggled to get Malik involved for most of the game, but when it mattered most, he delivered. He made a crucial first down catch in the third quarter on a run-and-catch play. Later, in the fourth quarter, he ran a beautiful corner route, hauling in a touchdown that ultimately put Camden on top. Malik demonstrated his explosiveness as a weapon, tremendous focus, and mental toughness, staying ready despite not seeing the typical volume he’s used to.

is a prospect that excited me both in person and live in camp. He can get going vertically and high point, track the ball, and extend for it. Redd’s skillset, speed, and ability to evade tacklers make him a key piece to be played on the real-life game of chess.

- Stretches the field vertically, routinely able to get behind the secondary
- Film is mostly verts, fades, wheels, and flags
- Has good sense of when to break off his routes, able to read defenders who are on their heels
- Uses hands to catch; makes diving grabs and contested 5050 balls
- Moves like a one-cut running back in the open field
- Stalk blocks with authority – they look like crack blocks
- I think he can create well for himself; film would benefit from him being featured in the short-to-intermediate patterns to showcase this

. Last fall, Redd was credited with 1 rush for 29 yards, slashed 28/422/5 as a target, and forced 1 fumble and recovered another on defense. Fast is the operative word for Redd’s game. Film shows that he is used almost exclusively in the slot and stretches the field vertically, often getting behind the secondary. He runs a lot of verts, fades, wheels, and flags – likely to exploit a matchup his coaches like. When defenders are on their heels, he has the sense of when to break off his route for an easy pitch-and-catch first down. Using his hands to catch, we see Redd also make diving grabs and win on contested 5050 balls. In the open field, the way Redd moves reminds me of a running back, the way he can make one cut and one additional move to gain additional yardage. Turning speed into power, we see Redd make stalk blocks look a helluva lot like crack blocks at times. An element of Redd’s game I wish to see more of is how he is with the ball in his hands on short-to-intermediate routes. Given how explosive he is, I am interested to see how he can create for himself across the middle.
