The Omaha North Vikings get a HUGE boost to their OL room in the form of transfer Malik Nichols Malik Nichols 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Omaha North | 2027 NE . Malik was already high on my radar as one of the top prospects in Iowa after a stellar three seasons at Council Bluffs Jefferson. Right off the bat, Malik possesses the next-level size at 6’3″ and 280 pounds with solid length to his frame. Malik stands out with his mobility and athleticism, flashing the footwork to quickly get set in pass protection, and he can climb to the second level/pull very well as a run blocker. Very reactive as a pass blocker with the ability to handle speed and power rushers. Nichols’ mean streak also stood out on tape as he was constantly looking to finish blocks in the dirt and would play through the whistle. Good bend, hand usage/placement, and explosiveness off the ball. Look for a big debut for Malik on our next 2027 rankings update!
