Malachi Cook Malachi Cook 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR/DB Archbishop Hoban | 2028 OH does not have much tape yet, so a further evaluation is needed before we rank him, but the 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback in the Class of 2028 flashes the skills in coverage to be a legitimate Division I target. He also flashes some ability to thump, force fumbles and flip the field. Cook picked up his first offer from Austin Peay.

Akron Hoban Class of 2028 defensive back Malachi Cook Malachi Cook 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR/DB Archbishop Hoban | 2028 OH picked up his first offer from Austin Peay this week. Cook displays being a physical hitter who can dislodge the ball in run support, force fumbles and flip the field. We have limited tape on him as a receiver in 7v7 where he has good adjustment to the ball and soft hands. We’d like to see more film of him before ranking and rating him, but the sky is the limit for his potential as a 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect.
