Carlos Gordon Carlos Gordon 6'3" | 170 lbs | DB/WR Archbishop Hoban | 2028 State OH is a talented defensive back for Akron Hoban. He is a very good open-field tackler, squares up nicely at the point of contact without over pursuing and wraps up. He is quick out of a backpedal yet also patient enough to come to balance in space without breaking contain. Gordon is now up to seven Division I offers, with his most-recent opportunity coming from Youngstown State.

Carlos is another part of the Hoban factory of recruits, and he finds himself debuting just outside of the top 50. He’s a great prospect already due to his size, arm length, and athleticism. He uses his length to deflect passes down the field and can run with almost anyone. He’s also a useful run defender and makes himself available on all three downs.

Carlos Gordon Carlos Gordon 6'3" | 170 lbs | DB/WR Archbishop Hoban | 2028 State OH will most certainly become a national recruit by the time his career in high school is all said and done. The Archbishop Hoban defensive back already flashes being one of the best in Ohio. Very tall with a great frame and plenty of arm length, Gordon is quick to close on ballcarriers against the run and can use his length well to break up passes, time effectively with his hands. Size and frame should only get bigger in the years ahead.
