Akron Hoban Class of 2028 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2160607' first='Malachi' last='Cook'] picked up his first offer from Austin Peay this week. Cook displays being a physical hitter who can dislodge the ball in run support, force fumbles and flip the field. We have limited tape on him as a receiver in 7v7 where he has good adjustment to the ball and soft hands. We'd like to see more film of him before ranking and rating him, but the sky is the limit for his potential as a 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2208801' first='J'Ayvion' last='Kyser'] is a talented cover corner. At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Kyser has prototypical size for the position. Long in the arms and legs, he is a very good defensive back who can break on the ball, displays great timing with his hands to break up passes, and can undercut routes. Kyser, who also plays basketball, recorded 24 tackles, four pass breakups, and one interception last season, and also returns kicks. He picked up his first offer from Gannon.

Business is picking up for Upper Arlington High School Class of 2027 offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1703185' first='Drake' last='Dorsey'], whose recent offers include Princeton and Ball State. The physical and fast offensive lineman is a force, with physicality, good hand placement and strike timing, and strong legs to drive his feet on contact and take defenders for a ride. Dorsey is a face in the run game and a great blocker in space. He flashes ability to mirror rushers in pass pro, and can be hard to get around.

[player_tooltip player_id='2084543' first='Geovonni' last='Vinson'] has the potential to be a major Division I athlete. The 5-foot-10, 170 pound cornerback is a tough cover who can carry deep fades and time the ball well with his hands to break up passes for Massillon Washington. Wilson has good use-of-hands and can be feisty and physical in coverage without getting flagged. He picked up his first Division I offer from Miami-Ohio after a strong college showcase showing.
