White does a good job at catching the ball, tucking it, and quickly turning upfield to fight for extra yardage. What stood out the most when evaluating his tape was his awareness of his position on the field. He’s comfortable catching the ball near the sideline and keeps himself aware of the down and distance. White has also proven himself hard to bring down. Often, more than one defender will have to bring him down — he’s so slippery, which makes it difficult for defenders to catch him. Despite being a smaller receiver in stature, he’s a great blocker on the outside. He’s proved this a time or two on special teams, as well.

Makhi made the most of every opportunity on Sunday. Every ball thrown his way was secured, and he was able to out-athlete everyone trying to cover him. He has the physicality and speed to be a menace to smaller and slower DBs. His team depended on him and his win rate on his routes to stretch the field vertically, which he did so with ease. Great weekend overall for the North Hardin star.

White is a fantastic athlete who not only looks the part on the outside, but has rare twitch and speed. He makes things look natural for him on the field. He’s got good hands and concentration in traffic. He does special things with the ball in his hands, and a good portion of the offense was finding White and giving him a chance to make a play.

He caught eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown this past season. White is a dangerous deep threat as he is able to use his speed to his advantage to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to get up the field in a hurry to pick up extra yards. Makhi will be a player worth keeping a close eye on as his role in the Trojans’ offense continues to grow over the next few years.
