Luke didn’t see much field time as a freshman but I was able to get eyes on him this spring and came away impressed. He should be a contributor on Spalding’s defense this fall as Coach Schmitt is high on his potential. Luke looks the part out there on the field. He has a nice wide shoulder frame, big chest and should continue to fill out well. A good overall athlete, Luke moves fast, can drop his weight and explode out. When I saw him at workouts this spring, Luke showcased quick feet and nice COD ability. He can turn and go, shows good bend and can come downhill with power/burst. Look for Luke to make plays both in coverage and at the LOS as he fills and blows up the run this fall. I can easily see Luke moving up the 2028 rankings if he makes the impact I think he can in 2025.
