With the graduation of Jackson Gravel, Lalji is the likely starter for the upcoming season. Based on a quick look at his sophomore-year highlights, Lalji will bring the threat of him being able to also make plays with legs. is a top quarterback prospect for the class of 2027 out of the Pacific Northwest. Coming in at a highly projectable 6’0″ 165lb frame, Lalji is a very good dual-threat quarterback prospect. Lalji possesses great arm talent as he can throw the ball with velocity to all three levels and can attack every inch of the field. Lalji has a quick short arm release that allows him to generate quick rpms on the ball which allows him to drive a football into tight short and intermediate passing windows. He can also drop down his arm angle to throw the ball side arm as another way to get the ball to his target. Lalji can also layer throws with touch in the intermediate passing game, which is hard to do with his throwing motion because of how low his elbow drops in his throwing motion. Lalji has excellent mobility as he possesses a 4.8s forty-yard dash time that shows on tape as he maneuvers the pocket well to avoid the oncoming pass rush while keeping his eyes downfield to pass the ball. Lalji is already a great NCAA FBS prospect as he has all the tools any major college program would want, but if he can clean up his throwing mechanics he’ll unlock even more arm talent, and he could truly become one of, if not the top quarterback prospects for his recruiting class in the U.S.
