The Episcopal product is up to over ten offers including recent ones from Penn State, Liberty and Wake Forest. Babin is one of the fastest prospects in the state and not just for his class.

A high-end athlete, Levi is a Running Back and Defensive Back ATH in our rankings. At RB, he shows good competitive toughness by following his blocks and running the designed play. He displays very good burst and balance through the hole, and once he hits the open field, his athleticism takes over with very good short-area quickness, speed, and elusiveness. I would attribute him to more of a speed and elusive back, but he has no issue lowering his shoulder through contact. At Cornerback, he can align in Press and Soft/Off coverages. He has quick feet and hands to engage WRs with very good hip fluidity to turn and run. He is an aggressive player, looking to make a play on the ball and has no issues coming up to make a tackle. One look at his film will show why he made our Top-20 overall in last year’s initial rankings. So far has received offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia, UNC Charlotte, and Old Dominion.

Looks like we were right to have Episcopal’s Levi Babin Levi Babin 6'1" | 195 lbs | ATH Episcopal | 2027 State VA ranked in our top 20 for the 2027 class, he just picked up another offer from West Virginia. The third ranked athlete in Virginia has offers ranging from Virginia Tech to UNC Charlotte and more are surely to follow.

In six games, Levi Babin put up 474 rushing yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his dynamic ability as a runner. His speed stands out immediately—once he finds a lane, he takes off with a noticeable second gear, as seen in his explosive 70-plus yard touchdown run where he outran the entire defense. Babin has excellent vision and football IQ, demonstrating an instinct for knowing when to cut inside or bounce outside, making defenders miss with well-timed jump cuts. Despite his taller frame for a running back, Babin runs with a low center of gravity, maintaining balance through contact and showing the ability to power through tackles. His elusiveness in the open field is just as impressive as his physicality—he can shake defenders or lower his shoulder and drive through them.

With his size and skill set, continuing to develop as a pass-catcher out of the backfield could add another layer to his game. Otherwise, Baban’s combination of burst, balance, and toughness makes him an intriguing prospect, and while he’s a 6-foot-1 cornerback, his upside as a running back is hard to ignore.
