We watched him go to work in the spring as a backup and he looked really promising. Since then, plenty has changed and Lee has emerged as one of the top two-way players on this Metro Christian roster. Offensively, Lee has moved over to play more of a hybrid tight end/receiver role. As a big target, he’s primed for a monster season this fall. Defensively, Lee is a nightmare for opposing offenses when he comes off the edge. Lee has a chance to be a game-wrecker on the defensive side of the ball. There’s no doubt that he’ll be a major impact player this fall.

Metro Christian is on the shortlist of programs that develop quarterbacks at an incredibly high level. The Patriots already have their QB1 for this season but here’s a quarterback to remember for 2026 and beyond. If Metro Christian didn’t have numbers on their jerseys, you could be talked into Lee actually being the Metro Christian starter and not the backup. There was no drop off when we were watching the Patriots go against various defenses when Lee came into the game. And maybe that shouldn’t be a surprise when you consider the fact that Metro is one of the true quarterback factories in Oklahoma. We might not see Lee this season unless something goes wrong or if it’s in garbage time but he’s definitely gotten our attention and will be a name to watch moving forward.
