2028 quarterback and athlete Colson Holder Colson Holder QB/ATH Metro Christian | 2028 OK is the other signal caller in a battle with Smith for the QB1 job this season. Holder has the advantage of being the guy that has been in the program. He was Metro Christian’s JV quarterback last season and showed flashes in 2025 that he could be their quarterback moving forward. Holder is a lefty but also a very underrated athlete. No matter what happens in the QB battle, Holder is going to be a player that more than likely starts somewhere for the Patriots. He can also be a starting cornerback on defense and be moved around on offense. But right now, he’s looking to lock down that QB1 job this fall.
