has developed into becoming a solid presence in the middle of Solon’s defense. Jensen finished 2024 with 63.5 tackles, 10 TFLs, and 3.5 sacks. Jensen does a great job at using his hands to get off blocks, pushing linemen out of the way consistently to get right in front of the RB to stop the play. I was really impressed with Jensen’s vision, and his ability to follow the ball through every play, even through broken and chaotic plays where he kept his eyes on the ball and found the ball-carrier to make the stop. Jensen is a tough defender who could contain on the goal-line, and he also blocked an extra-point attempt during the year, providing value on special-teams. Jensen has plenty of potential, and a big campaign in his senior year could really boost his value upwards in this deep LB class.

on the field for Solon on Friday. The junior posted 11.5 tackles, had 2.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks. He does a nice job on the offensive line, too. Linebacker looks to be his future home in college, though. He could potentially fit at safety or a hybrid as well. Jensen stands out for his physicality and motor. He’s relentless and difficult to keep blocked. Jensen show good lateral quickness and tackling form, too.

played a huge role in shutting down the Mustangs to maintain their undefeated start. Jensen finished with 11.5 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks as the Spartans held off Mount Vernon. Jensen is a bit smaller for an inside-Linebacker, but he makes up with impressive size and quick closing speed, and he used that to force pressure on the QB all night, which in turn, created turnovers for the defense. Jensen could very much earn a big boost in the Iowa LB rankings by the end of the season if he continues to play at the game-wrecking level he’s been playing at so far to start this year.
