Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Bock played a significant role as a sophomore in a potent Solon offense that helped the Spartans reach the state semifinals last season. He hauled in 13 passes for 265 yards (20.4 YPC) and a pair of touchdowns, and chipped in a solo tackle. He provides evidence as to how he gets the job done between the lines during his 10th-grade highlight video. It starts out with him lining up in the slot, running a short inside route, making a couple of guys miss and going 77 yards for a touchdown. Bock is a versatile receiver with the quick actions to make opponents miss in the middle of the field while also flashing the ability to bring down tough catches in traffic. He’s also a willing and able blocker in the run game, keeping the pads down and utilizing his hands effectively. There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Solon attack, but Bock has shown he’ll eat when given the opportunity.
