. Standifer had one of the more video game-like seasons in recent memory, as he led the state by over 200 receiving yards. He finished with 1,608 yards, which is a wild amount. This slides him up the list when it comes to his career accomplishments, and his milestones are pushing what could land him in the record books at this rate. One of the top overall 2027 prospects in the Athens area, Standifer is a big-time pass-catcher currently ranked as the No. 7 WR prospect in the state for his class. He’s a speedy, shifty athlete with strong hands and the ability to make plays in the return game. The Athens Academy standout already holds several major offers, but he earned another big SEC offer from the Oklahoma Sooners this week along with a new offer from Memphis. As a junior this fall, Standifer hauled in 46 passes for 1,250 yards and an eye-opening 20 touchdowns for an average of 27.2 yards per catch. He hit the 130-yard mark six times and recorded a receiving touchdown in every single game. Look for his offer list to continue to grow more and more over the next several months.

Standifer, a recent Georgia Tech commit, has improved each year and is one of the most productive receivers in Georgia this fall. Standifer has the athletic ability and top gear to separate before and after the catch. He plays with a patient pace in the open field with the football, locating cut-back opportunities well. He projects long-term as a gadget player, where he can be schemed up opportunities to make plays in space.

On offense, Standifer is dynamic with the ball in his hands, rushing for 278 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 46 passes for 1,222 yards and 19 touchdowns. He’s a scoring machine, and now he’s ranked as the No. 4 ATH and the No. 29 overall prospect in the state.

Fresh off a Georgia State offer on Thursday, the 5’11 165 WR/DB showed out when the lights came on. He caught 5 passes for 130 yards and scored 4 TDs in the 70-7 win over the freshman. Standifer is coming off a stellar sophomore season at Athens Academy where he was named the 8-A D1 POY after putting up 1700 all purpose yards and scoring 21 TDs.
Outlook: I knew he was special when I saw him live at last years Redzone Showcase. Excellent route runner with great ball skills. His quickness is what sets him apart and he can change directions on a dime keeping the DB on their heels. Future P4 prospect.

Ranked as the No. 5 ATH in the state for the 2027 class, Standifer is making consistent plays on both sides of the ball this year, but his dynamic, playmaking ability at wide receiver has him atop the leaderboard in receiving yards across the state among sophomores. The Athens Academy standout has been a consistent weapon in the passing game all season long, catching 36 passes for 36 passes for 1,027 yards and 14 touchdowns through his first 8 games. He’s averaging an outstanding 28.5 yards per catch and 128 yards per game.

Alan Popadines knew Standifer was going to be special after seeing him in Middle School a few years back. “He changes directions quickly and is explosive out of breaks which are traits of elite cornerbacks.”
The #5 overall ranked ATH by PRZ has made his mark on the offensive side of the ball this season for the Spartans. He has 33 receptions for 959 yards and 14 receiving TDs through 7 games. He will take the occasional pitch in the run game and is averaging over 24 yards per carry on 11 totes.
Standifer has a great first step off the LOS and has natural athletic ability to change directions on a dime. Great upside on both sides of the ball at the next level.

He’s completely dominated at wide receiver this year, catching 25 passes through his first four games with an eye-opening 619 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s scored at least two touchdowns in every game this year including a four-touchdown game against Shaw where he hauled in nine passes for 284 yards along with those four scores. He’s a long-strider with dependable hands who has consistently made big plays throughout the start of his current sophomore season.

absolutely exploded last week, reeling in 10 receptions for 284 yards and 4 TDs. The early buzz around Standifer has him as one of the best WRs in the state for his class and he is proving that so far. Standifer’s speed off the line allows him to eliminate cushion and instantly send the CB in retreat. He maintains that top speed down the field, which allows him to get behind safeties. At the top of his route, he flashed outstanding footwork, getting DBs off-platform and working back toward the QB. He can attack several different coverages while also impacting the YAC game in the short areas. Standifer is a clear P4 WR prospect and his recruitment should heat up soon.

Standifer is now listed at 5’10. This young WR is already on everyone’s radar after a stellar freshman season at Athens Academy. He tested above avg in the agility drills and was very impressive in the WR/DB 1v1. Good route runner with that “twitch” to create separation from the defender. Athletic with the ball in the air and can adjust to balls thrown off line. Future FBS recruit.
