‘s game at the wide receiver position. Padgett is a go-to guy in need, and he is a very reliable wide out. He can high point the ball, he has great ball skills at the wide out and defensive back positions, so yes, he is an all-around athletic talent. He can stretch the field, take the top off a defense, he can come across the middle, he can catch the ball in traffic and make the plays needed. He is going to be fun to watch this fall!
Recruitment: Padgett currently holds an offer from Eastern Michigan.

Padgett may be the most underrated wide receiver I have seen, and it isn’t close. Padgett has one of the better wide receiver route trees in the class and is quick with his movement. He has a ton of 50/50 traits that make him a dangerous wide receiver, and he has the chance to become a Division I starter fairly quickly. Padgett made headlines this past season, which has earned him his first offer, and I find it hard to believe that this is all he has after confirming he was a top wide receiver in the state.

Padgett earned his first offer, but he is far from done. He is arguably the most underrated prospect in the state at the wide receiver position, and someone will be getting a steal out of the talented prospect. He is freshly off one of the better seasons in the northern area of the state, and he will only be gaining some attention as he crosses into his next high school football season. I believe this season is going to be one to remember for the prospect, who you could see near the top of the leaderboards for yards this season.

Padgett came out of nowhere as a junior and ended the year as one of the most productive 2027 receivers in the state. He is lean and has room to pack on more mass. His long strides help him cut cushion and are hard to match down the field. Light on his feet and runs with a calm pace in his routes. Really impressive ball tracking, body control, and contested catch skills down the field. I think this is a guy who could get some D1 looks as a senior.

Padgett is one of my favorites in the class of 2027. He is very consistent at the catch point, and is one of my favorite outside guys in the class. He has continued to improve as time goes by, and with that comes more reps. The more reps he gets, the better a team has to win a game, and I’m confident when saying that. He is a nightmare for opposing teams in the classification he and his team plays in. He has some speed and continues to get more fluid in his movement, which will only make him more dominant. My favorite ability of his is his ability to find the ball. He has great ball tracking, which makes him one of the most consisitent options to pass to.

One of the most productive 2027 wide receivers across Cobb County right now, Padgett is a big-play weapon who can win jump-balls and make plays down the field. He’s a standout defender in the secondary, but he’s a consistent option in the passing game playing better and better as the season has moved along. He’s caught 21 passes through his first five games for 441 yards and six touchdowns. He’s hit the 95-yard mark in three of his five games and has scored five touchdowns over his last two games. He’s averaging 21 yards per catch and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. He’s one of the top receivers in the Kennesaw area and he’ll be an easy addition to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

One of the most underrated prospects in the state. He has been able to show off his sure hands and is one of the more dominant players in physical 50/50 situations. Padgett is going to be one of the main players to know for a very long time.

Padgett is a tall, lean two-way player who has exploded as a receiver this fall. I like the speed profile here, even though I can’t find any verified speed metrics. Regardless, he quickly takes care of cushion and will gradually separate vertically if given 1 on 1 coverage. Padgett can make grabs both inside and outside of his frame. He makes the most of his catch radius, making physical catches over the top and picking the ball off the turf. Padgett is massively underrated and has plenty of upside.
