A multi-sport standout from Athens Academy, Johnson is an aggressive linebacker who plays hard and has the ability to play in the middle of the field or on the edge. He’s got a strong 6-foot-3 215-pound frame and plays fast. He’s smart, reacts quickly, and has no problem fighting off blocks in his pursuit of the ball-carrier. He’s a standout baseball player who made a big impact on the gridiron last season as a sophomore, making 48 tackles and four TFLs. Look for those numbers to improve in a big way this upcoming season as a junior.
