Keondre Weathers Keondre Weathers 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Campbellsville | 2024 State KY is another 1A defensive lineman that impressed me this season. Weathers lined up at defensive end where he was very disruptive against the run. He showed the ability to fight through blocks and get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make tackles in the open field. Weathers finished the season with 91 tackles and 23 tackles for loss in 13 games. He also asserted his dominance as a pass rusher, finishing the season with 12 sacks. Weathers currently holds an offer from Campbellsville and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

Keondre Weathers Keondre Weathers 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Campbellsville | 2024 State KY is a player that has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to impress this season. Weathers lines up at defensive end where he is very disruptive against the run. He uses his strength and high motor to fight through blocks and get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make tackles. Through seven games, he leads his team with 51 tackles and 14 tackles for loss. He has also shown impressive ability as a pass rusher, coming away with eight sacks so far. While Keondre doesn’t currently hold any offers, I expect some to come his way soon as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level and has received some college interest.

An active, quick-twitch defensive lineman with long arms and a consistently high pursuit motor, Weathers’ quick vertical take-off and ability to play behind his pads make him a legitimate challenge for opposing offenses. Aligning as a nose guard in the Eagles’ 3-4 defensive front, he was a perpetually disruptive presence in his squad’s 34-27 win over Somerset, collecting 6 solo tackles, 4 assists, 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. Despite also starting full-time offensively at left tackle, he currently leads all Eagle defenders with 14 solo tackles, 25 assists, 12 tackles for loss and 2 forced fumbles. A primary force behind Campbellsville’s first 5-0 start since 2015, he currently averages 7.8 tackles per game, and his sack total (6) ranks him first in Class A and ties him for #4 statewide.

Keondre Weathers Keondre Weathers 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Campbellsville | 2024 State KY is another defensive prospect that I’ve had my eye on for a while now that continued to impress this past week. Weathers played a key role in Campbellsville’s win over Casey County on Friday. The senior defensive lineman was very disruptive against the run, using his strength to fight through blocks on his way to the ball carrier. Once he got to the ball carrier, he showed that he is a very reliable tackler in the open field, finishing the game with 13 tackles and six tackles for loss. Keondre also showed some ability as a pass rusher, finishing Friday’s game with two sacks. While Keondre doesn’t currently hold any offers, I expect some to come his way soon as he has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

An offensive lineman that has jumped onto my radar recently is junior Keondre Weathers Keondre Weathers 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Campbellsville | 2024 State KY from Campbellsville. Weathers lines up at left tackle and is a very impressive blocker in the run game. He has a quick first step and does a great job of running his feet on contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Weathers has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field as a lead blocker. In pass protection, Weathers keeps a strong base and does a solid job of mirroring opposing pass rushers off the edge. Keondre doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be a name to watch going into his senior season as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
