It’s not every day that an incoming freshman already has two seasons of varsity experience under his belt, but that’s the case with Ty Burwash Ty Burwash 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Campbellsville | 2029 KY , who has played varsity baseball since seventh-grade. While Campbellsville may only be a 1A school, Burwash is a prospect with a lot of talent in both football and baseball. Though his future looks to be on the baseball diamond at this point, Burwash was named the Division 3 Region 1 Player of the Year on the football a year ago. With the varsity Eagles finishing 11-3 a year ago, they “welcome” a familiar face in Burwash.

I’m obviously going to talk about Burwash’s ability on the football field here since we’re taking a look at the KYMSFA Regional Players of the Year, but make no bones about it, this kid has the potential to be a future Major Leaguer. Just an eighth-grader, he’s already in his second season on the Varsity baseball team and is batting .357 this year. Back to the gridiron, he’s a dual-threat QB that used his muscular frame and talented arm to pass/run through, over and around the opposing defenses.
