About Austin
Expert Analysis
Scott Burgess | Prep Redzone Scout
This stocky 6’3” 260 pound offensive guard drops and anchors doing a nice job of hand fighting keeping defensive tackles out of his body. At times will just lock their arms and not even let them make a move.

Austin Sloan Austin Sloan 6'3" | 250 lbs | OL Campbellsville | 2027 State KY had a very impressive junior season at right tackle for Campbellsville. In pass protection, Sloan uses his smooth footwork to get into his pass sets quickly and stay in front of opposing pass rushers off the edge to keep them away from the quarterback. He also does a good job of keeping a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing easy penetration into the pocket. Austin is also impressive as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field with ease and finish his blocks through the whistle. Sloan currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Miami (OH), and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.
