Springfield Class of 2028 offensive lineman Kavon Blackmon’s recruiting has really taken off over the past couple of weeks. We’ve been high on his potential as he has a great frame and size to succeed in a college program. He has earned offers from Michigan State, Cincinnati, Marshall, and Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes over the past two weeks; expect more action to come for the 6-foot-6, 270 pounder.

Kavon Blackmon Kavon Blackmon 6'5" | 245 lbs | OL Springfield | 2028 State OH is a starting right tackle for Springfield High School. Blackmon has good use-of-hands, with good strike timing and placement. As a run blocker, he can encircle defenders at the corner, seal off the edge and create off-tackle space for RBs. He can effectively mirror rushers in pass pro and flashes a good lateral set. He picked up his most-recent offer from Miami-Ohio last weekend but expect his offer list to grow this spring.
