is another one that hit my radar more than once during the USF Prospect Camp on Friday night. Kaden’s our DB2 in the 2027 class for a reason, as watching his reps you could quickly lock into the physicality this young man plays with especially as a press corner. Kaden quickly understood the balance you needed to have in physical 1v1 coverage to press WRs buttons, but not draw a flag from the reps I watched. There’s a reason why other NSIC schools just recently bit on Kaden with his first offer that came in from Northern State the other day as he plays with a presence that would be a great fit in that conference as one that I feel more dominoes will fall for soon on his recruiting trail.

The developed footwork that Kaden has grown since our spring Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine in Sioux Falls is intriguing with his midseason tape. The foot balance and attention to detail has certainly rose up for Kaden. Although he isn’t the biggest corner at the moment, Kaden plays with a physical presence as he plays way bigger with his hands and strength getting off blocks and showing catchy change of direction as a sophomore on varsity in the Warriors secondary. I really like this kid’s ceiling he can hit in the coming years as our DB1 in South Dakota in the 2027 class.

. In the reps I watched out of Kaden, I certainly saw a DB prospect that I thought had the most upside out there amongst the 2027 class of defensive backs we had in attendance at the Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. He was poised for his age in those 1v1 reps I took in, as he was tangible in his pass coverage and as the defensive backs like to say, he put “the clamps” on one of the wide receivers which impressed me in his first live evaluation I have gotten. A 2027 prospect that left with good marks on his first live-eval and is one that I hope grows out his frame, skillsets, athleticism over the next coming years.
