Broken Bow linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK is our final prospect on this breakdown. He’s jumped up nearly 20 spots and he’s now in the Top 50 and he continues to climb the LB rankings and that’s a position group that we really like and is getting deeper and deeper. Pratt made the move from Idabel to Broken Bow this offseason and it has paid off in a big way. Broken Bow is one of the top contenders in their class but for Pratt, he’s become the leader of this Broken Bow defense. All eyes go to the explosive playmakers they have on offense but when you really watch what they do, Pratt sets the tone on defense and the team feeds off that. He’s a hard hitter with a nose for the football and if his game continues to grow, the ceiling for him as a prospect will grow as well.

Junior linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK comes over to Broken Bow after starting for Idabel the last two seasons. Pratt would have a terrific sophomore campaign, becoming one of the top defenders on Idabel’s defense. And when you throw on his tape, you see an incredibly physical player that impacts much more than just the defense. It felt like half of his clips on his sophomore film were of him on the kickoff team, coming in like a heat-seeking missile and destroying the kick returner. Like we said, he’s a very physical player and that hard-hitting ability will give a big boost to this Broken Bow defense in 2025.

Idabel linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK enjoyed a breakout sophomore season, becoming one of the top linebackers in Class 3A and was a big part of the Warriors making a run in 2024. And look, this was an Idabel team that was not lacking some serious star power on both sides of the ball with two D1 signees on offense. But when you looked at the defense, you saw Pratt, constantly. He filled up the stat sheet, leading the Warriors in tackles during his sophomore season. Like several other top linebackers, he simply has a nose for the football and when we got a chance to watch the film, you see him in the right place at the right time, and he was doing that play after play after play. Pratt is definitely a name that we’re paying attention to moving forward because based on the production alone, he’s going to go into the 2025 season as one of the top linebackers.

When it was time to do this ranking update, we knew that Idabel linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK would be a name that received a significant boost in his overall ranking. He’s a borderline top 20 prospect overall and continues to move up the linebacker charts. Last season, Pratt missed quite a bit of his freshman season and we wanted to see how he was going to bounce back. We knew that he had put in a lot of work throughout the offseason to get ready for a bounce back season but he’s exceeded all expectations. He has a nose for the football and that shows as he leads the team in tackles and it’s not particularly close. He’s averaging right around ten tackles per game.

When our initial rankings came out earlier this year, Idabel linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK made the ranking and when we look at this class, he’s definitely a name to keep an eye on. As we mentioned back in February, Pratt was very productive last season as a freshman but he had his first year cut short with an injury. And like we mentioned a few months ago, Pratt has been working hard to get back to 100 percent and has put a lot of work into the weight room. And Idabel is going to be a team to watch this season. They move up to Class 3A and they have some serious star power returning. Pratt will have a big platform to perform on this season.

Southeastern Oklahoma has some serious dudes in this 2027 class. Idabel linebacker Kade Pratt Kade Pratt 6'2" | LB Broken Bow | 2027 State OK is going to be a name to watch moving forward at that position. Pratt was somewhat limited in what he could do during his freshman season. He only played in about half of Idabel’s games but he’s already working on the comeback. Pratt has essentially lived in the weight room since the end of last season and is primed for a big 2024 season. Pratt was a linebacker on our radar last summer when we were previewing the 2023 season. He lived up to the hype with a productive freshman season but he’s looking to stay healthy. As long as he stays healthy, he should have a monster sophomore season.
