Thomas had an explosive outing against Bergen Catholic, catching four passes for 108 yards (including a 90-yard touchdown) and also had a 63-yard return. In fact, the 90-yard touchdown came on an out-and-up with a defensive breakdown. To his credit, Thomas caught the ball at his 40-yard line and outran everyone to the end zone, showing some long speed. His other three catches were of the short variety. Thomas barely got tripped up on his 63-yard return. He’s going to get a lot of opportunities as WR2 in the offense.

Justin is another playing making a strong debut as a top 100 player coming in at #95 overall and the eleventh overall WR prospect. I got to see Justin live earlier this spring at the MFCS Elite 100 Showcase where he put on an impressive performance and really caught my eye.

A versatile WR, Justin can work outside getting vertical or in the slot making plays across the MOF. He has great stop & starts ability, pushing vertical to get defenders on their heels before breaking out to create separation. A smooth route runner, Justin can stem his route & makes precise cuts with no loss of momentum/wasted steps. During the showcase he showcased strong ball skills, getting his head around quick to find it and snatching the ball out of the air.

Justin currently holds two FCS offers from Del State and Rhode Island. I expect him to be one of GC’s top receiving targets along with 2028 WR prospect Corey Smith. Justin could rack up the catches and put on some playmaking ability that will make him an intriguing prospect to plenty more FCS+ schools.
