Per his X account, Benjamin registered four tackles, six quarterback pressures, and one batted pass in a win against Bergen Catholic (NJ). Benjamin is hard to move and becomes real disruptive when he wins at point of attack. I love his get-off and pad level. Benjamine’s first step is quick and he collapses the A/B gap, forcing the quarterback to move on passing plays. Also impressived with his hands and the way he extend them. Does a nice job of getting into the guard’s chest and can shed or occupy gaps. He didn’t get the sacks, but the highlights show that Benjamin was highly effective at disupting the quarterback’s rhythm.

is an absolute stud. For someone as big as he is (6’3″, almost 300 pounds) he moves extremely well. He is a prototypical 3-tech defensive tackle. He could also play as a nose tackle. He has good speed, and he can use it to get around offensive linemen. He also has good strength. During the one-on-one drills, he was outstanding. He was able to dominate the offensive linemen at times with his strength and athleticism. He earned a top 5 ranking at the showcase. For a 2029 kid, he showed out.

is an explosive athlete in the 2029 class. He gets off the ball quickly and is almost impossible to block one-on-one. He also shows good strength. I am excited to see him work out on Sunday. The question is does he live up to the hype of being such a highly rated player? We will find out.
