Cranford is a dual-threat QB who can beat the defense both in the air and the ground. Measuring in at 6’0 160-pounds, Cranford threw for 2144 yards on 186/288 with a 64.6% completion rate, 19 TD, 10 INT, 58 carries for 335 yards and 7 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, and speed. He has a good throw power and a good release. Very good throw on the run. He’s elusive in the pocket, scrambling out right to find the open guy. Good ball placement skills. His accuracy while on the run under pressure is impressive. He can launch it downfield with defenders in his face, leading the WR in stride. If no one is open, he uses his very good athletic ability to gash the defense. Cranford has very dynamic cuts to make defenders miss out in space. Another exciting gem that I want to see more of next season.
He was one of 2 Fort Collins quarterbacks to attend the combine, and he didn’t disappoint. The 6’0 155-pound quarterback was slinging it all throughout the drills. He has very good throw power, and can make all the throws needed. He has very good body movement/fluidity. His hips and arms move as one, making seamless throws. Cranford has a very good over the top release. I was impressed with his competitive toughness. If he missed a throw, he came back the next and succeed. He never gave up, and that’s a shining attribute to have. Good ball placement skills, throwing it on the money to his receivers. Fort Collins is in good hands for the foreseeable future between Cranford and Jace GarciaJaceGarcia

waiting in the wings.
Cranford is a Qb that will be on the radar this season to see if he is able to take a leap forward. He has some good arm strength and shows good touch on his passes. He is a good role out QB that has some zip on his passes to get it to his receivers on the run and sets up the fakes really well. I feel that if he is able to limit the turnovers this season he can be an under the radar guy that will turn a lot of heads.
