Garcia measures in at 6’2 188-pounds and is looking to be the starter this upcoming season for Fort Collins. Garcia has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, good acceleration, speed, and balance. Very good throw power and very good release. Garcia maintains a smooth throwing motion throughout. Garcia has good pocket presence with very good pocket mobility. If no one’s open, he’ll use his good scramble ability to gain the first down or positive yards. One thing of note about Garcia is his off-platform throws. He’s able to throw it on his back foot and maintain accuracy while on the run. I’m very excited to see how he does next season! I believe he has a lot of potential.

Garcia was 29^th at the event amongst attendees for the L-drill. Garcia has very good change of direction, balance, good acceleration, and speed. He has very good throw power and a very good release. Quick flick of the wrist motion with no wasted movement. Very good touch on his throws. Garcia was accurate all throughout the 7 on 7s. He stayed poised and showed very good ball placement skills. He’d throw the ball in stride with the receiver, or throw it above the DB’s head so his receiver could make a play on the ball. Great job by the young QB, who is starting the off-season off with a bang!

Garcia is a fantastic QB that I had the pleasure of working with during the MileHighPrep season in the spring. Garcia has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, and good speed. This translates to his good scrambling ability and mobility in the pocket. He has very good throw power, and a very good release. It’s a quick flick of the wrist motion. Garcia has very good accuracy at all 3 levels. His very good off-platform throwing really caught my eye. He’ll throw it on his backfoot and maintain accuracy, or roll out to the sideline and throw across his body, maintaining accuracy. Garcia stays poised under pressure, going through his progressions and finding the open man. He has good ball placement skills too! He’s a high character kid who strives to get better each day! Can’t wait to see him start for Fort Collins.

Jace Garcia Jace Garcia 6'2" | 188 lbs | QB Fort Collins | 2028 State CO is a fantastic up and coming QB to know. He has very good throw power, and a snappy quick release. Garcia has fluid hips and very good footwork in the pocket. He stays poised under pressure. He has very good off platform throwing ability. For instance in a Mile High Prep game this spring, he ran to the sideline, almost stepping out of bounds, he kept his eyes up then reset his hips. He threw the ball in a tight window to the TE for the TD. Accurate on back foot while throwing on the run. Good ball placement skills with leading the receiver on sideline throws. Good at making quick decisions during RPO game. This kid is a beast and deserves extra looks.

Garcia impressed as a quarterback with a strong arm and pinpoint accuracy. His ability to lead receivers and place the ball where only they could catch it highlighted his maturity and understanding of the position. Garcia’s footwork and consistency in threading passes into tight windows make him a promising QB to keep an eye on moving forward. His poise under pressure and ability to read defenses suggest he’s ready to take the next step in his development, making him one of the top young quarterbacks to watch.

Garcia was one of two Fort Collins quarterbacks who attended the event. During the individual drills with quarterbacks, his fluid hips and snappy release stood out to me. Garcia showcased very good footwork, while maintaining his eyes downfield to find the contested receiver. Jace has good throw power, and very good accuracy needed to excel at the high school level. His quick and snappy release makes him a formidable quarterback. His deep accuracy shined at the event. He launched it with great touch, meeting his receiver downfield. Garcia has all the tools to excel, and I’m excited to see how the freshman develops over the next couple of seasons.
