Heading into this season, nobody really knew who would emerge as Cass Tech’s RB1.

has made a great case for himself, and with an elite offseason, he’ll earn the highest volume next season.
During the regular season, Julian totaled 584 yards and 12 TDs on just 42 carries (13.9 YPC). Against Toledo CC, I was incredibly impressed with his physicality and contacy balance. Julian consistently broke the first attempted tackle and consistently earned a few extra yards than I would have expected. Additionally, he’s looked like a well-conditioned 3-down back. Able to go all four quarters without slowing down much.
Tomorrow, Julian will earn a good number of touches. Keep an eye on

surpassed my expectations. You can only evaluate so much in the offseason. When I watched Julian at the Wayne State Mega Camp, I noted good athletic traits, but you never really know how that’ll translate to once the season begins. In short, there’s been a lot of athleticically gifted RBs who can’t put it together in-season.
I’m glad I ranked Julian as the RB1. I was very impressed with Julian’s vision and contact balance. Running inside, Julian did a wonderful job following close behind his blocks and exploding through the hole when the time came. Outside the tackles, he knew when to turn upfield and when to keep pushing outside. Plus, a great center of gravity and an ability to absorb some hits. Upgrade that athletesism throughout the next year, and

! Pitt, Louisville, Wisconsin, and a few others have offered.
I was also lucky enough to get a good look at him during the Wayne State Mega Camp. He’s also got good tape. Ju is an above-average athlete for his position. I liked his performance during drills, and he passed the eye test with flying colors.
Ju’s tape is what makes him stand out most. He’s a balanced, decisive runner who doesn’t go down easily. Running between the tackles, Julian is incredibly patient, allows his blocks to develop, and does an amazing job running within the structure of the play. Once he’s at the second level, Ju is consistently able to evade a defender, whether that be with a sidestep, truck, or simple running through an arm tackle.

I don’t mean to be redundant, but the above evaluation of Bryan is also very accurate of Ju. In fact, I watched both players side-by-side and thought they were incredibly similar. Testing backs this up, as they both have near-identical broad jump and shuttle stats, while both don’t have stats for the 40 or vertical. For a 2028 prospect, Ju is above-average in muscle mass and athletic ability.
I will say that Ju has great tape. He’s a hard runner, a decisive runner, and not afraid to lower a shoulder and run through someone. Not to mention the track record of young, promising players at Cass Tech. Expect Ju to be ranked by the time the next update comes around.

is a major standout. After watching his film, you can tell he’s a major spark for the offense. In a somewhat limited role, Taylor does a great job of hitting the hole with great speed and using his low center of gravity to break through tacklers. He is build really solid and has violent knees that just rips through arm tackles. He is just as productive in the passing game, typically taking check downs and screens for extra yardage and getting some nice gains out in space. Mylan has been picking up a ton of D1 steam and I am super excited to see how he evolves over this offseason.

There’s a great chance that Julian will produce on the Varsity level sooner rather than later. Last season, Julian had an excellent season with Southfield’s youth team. He’s advertised as a phenomenal power back who knows how to fight for extra yards- which is PERFECT for the Cass Tech scheme. Between the tackles, Julian is able to fight for those tough yards. Outside of the tackles, Julian sports surprisingly good athleticism and possesses a mean stiff-arm and solid stutter-step. There is a solid chance that Julian contributes on varsity this season. No matter the case, I am VERY excited to watch Julian’s 2024 highlight tape!

I see you slime! 5’9 165 RB playing for Southfield in Michigan is a problem.

looks the part and plays it better. Gang tackling is a must, because he won’t go down without a fight. Julian is strong and runs with bad intentions. Please don’t just get caught up on his physicality and not appreciate his speed as well. He possesses a balanced attacked when the pill is in his hands. I’ve witness a mean stutter step and go to get to the outside, then a disrespectful stiff arm to conclude his run on the outside. I love his energy and think he will only get better at the next level.
