Quite the pair of triple-option/Power-T QBs in Minnesota’s 2026 class, and for this PRzMN feature, we’re going to write about them back to back. Now that we’ve covered

, a 6A speedster who was the lynchpin of the Sabers 2024 6A state semifinalist appearance, led on the shoulders of the fastest backfield in Minnesota last season. Unfortunately, Forsberg’s speed is unverified and unknown, with zero appearances at any college camps I was aware of and no track background, but it doesn’t take a track & field coach to notice Forsberg’s impressive speed oth in person and/or on tape.
Forsberg fires through the first and second levels of the defense like a rocket, shooting past 6A defenders and pursuers like he’s racing against his little cousins on Thanksgiving. Displaying great running form, a smooth gait, and impressive burst and finishing speed, Forsberg can rip open a game and turn a simple option or QB keep 50+ yards untouched and for six. He displays good vision and decision-making and is a smooth athlete who is very comfortable and effective in space. He owns the hard-to-find ability to turn a game on its head with one missed assignment or bad pursuit angle. Plus, the 175 lber. demonstrates solid contact balance, lightness & nimbleness on his feet, and owns the quickness and elusiveness to make that free defender miss in the hole or third level of a defense. Not sure where he best projects to positionally in college, but I do know this kid can fly and make plays. Hope to see him on the offseason camp circuit soon.

– who brings a similar skillset as a shifty, playmaking, and explosive playmaking QB – is one of the most dynamic athletes in Minnesota’s 2026 class. Forsberg is dynamite in space, with game-breaking speed, a variety of moves and cuts that get defenders on their heels and off-balance, and great vision that thrives in the Sabers‘ triple-option attack. Colleges are taking notice as well, as the NDSU Bison have been all over the sophomore and most recently took a gameday visit to Fargo last weekend. Forsberg reports a 4.5 40, and although I can’t verify that, I think he’s somewhere in the ballpark, as his speed is lethal and puts him on another level compared to fast defenders and pursuers on tape. Forsberg displays big-time burst and has more than enough speed to finish big runs and outpace pursuers once he gets to the second and third level of a defense. He’s a smooth and fluid runner who looks great running the ball and seems to glide and float by defenders thanks to that game-breaking speed. Good vision, utilizes speed well, and even had some impressive ball-fakes and pitches when running the option into space. Plus, Forsberg has some decent reps of him throwing the ball on a variety of routes. The ball-carrying ability is explosive and superb, can’t wait to see how his offseason unfolds on the recruiting trail.
