I feel similarly to Shambley as I do to Carter. D1 buzz is here, but with just a year of true varsity experience under his belt, there is some tread on the tires here and plenty of room for him to grow. Shambley has really intriguing physical traits, standing on a big, lean frame. He can get long in his delivery, but there is natural life on the ball credited to his natural, whippy motion. He is a good runner with some horsepower in space, and he will continue to add more pop to his game both as an athlete and as a passer as he fills out and everything tightens.

is a talented 2027 QB who’s finally getting the attention he deserves.
“Shambley is a quick processor who protects the ball and accurately delivers it to his WRs every time he drops back- Shambley is excellent at seeing the field and takes only what defenses give him, never putting the ball in harm’s way and always finding the open man.
On top of that, Shambley has serious arm talent, using it to place the ball anywhere on the field. He has great arm strength and accuracy and frequently makes difficult throws downfield and over the tops of defenses.
Shambley is also really mobile and can create plays on the ground with his legs- he’s quick, has good speed, and can hurt defenses on designed runs and by scrambling out of the pocket.“
Shambley is seeing his name get out there more and more. Just this past week, he added new offers from Liberty, UWA, Marshall, and more.
I think Shambley has a huge year ahead here in 2026. We’re all going to have to watch out for him this fall.

Shambley’s twitchy rapid-fire release is one of the quickest in the state, limiting defensive reaction time and neutralizing pass rushers. The ball comes out clean and fast, and his compact motion allows him to throw accurately from multiple platforms.
As a creator, Shambley is dangerous. He has certified arm strength to stretch the field and elite body control when throwing off balance or on the move. Add in his dual-threat mobility and long speed, and you get a quarterback who can punish defenses both schematically and athletically. He’s one of the more electrifying playmakers in the 2027 class — period.

Will break varsity seal this fall. His physical traits are more than intriguing. Big, lean, wiry player. Everything is long right now, has time and space to fill out. Easy life on the ball, naturally rips through his delivery. Good runner. He naturally has some horsepower as a runner and a passer. He will only get better as he fills out, tightens up his mechanics, and gains experience. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him firmly emerge on the FBS map in the coming months.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say he can grow into one of the more noteworthy 2027 QB prospects in Alabama.
