Recruiting Report (5/11)- Top Offers From Last Week

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have had huge months, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1634897' first='Karson' last='Lacey'] is a talented up-and-coming DB at Daphne who just picked up his first offer last week!   "Lacey is physical at the line of scrimmage, quick on his feet, and has the coverage and ball skills to come away with some huge PBUs/INTs in man coverage. Lacey is excellent at using his eyes to track the ball and frequently prevented big plays downfield all last season.   On top of that, Lacey is a reliable tackler on special teams who helped create a ton of big plays on opposing punts/kickoffs this past season. He's a really well-rounded player with the best in front of him. Be sure to watch out for him."   Lacey really impressed in his sophomore season and is starting to pick up some much-deserved attention, landing his first offer from North Alabama!   With how well he played last fall, I think this is just the beginning when it comes to Lacey's recruitment. We're going to see a lot of schools reach out his way.      [player_tooltip player_id='1645043' first='Jordan' last='Shambley'] is a talented 2027 QB who's finally getting the attention he deserves.   "Shambley is a quick processor who protects the ball and accurately delivers it to his WRs every time he drops back- Shambley is excellent at seeing the field and takes only what defenses give him, never putting the ball in harm's way and always finding the open man.   On top of that, Shambley has serious arm talent, using it to place the ball anywhere on the field. He has great arm strength and accuracy and frequently makes difficult throws downfield and over the tops of defenses.   Shambley is also really mobile and can create plays on the ground with his legs- he's quick, has good speed, and can hurt defenses on designed runs and by scrambling out of the pocket."   Shambley is seeing his name get out there more and more. Just this past week, he added new offers from Liberty, UWA, Marshall, and more.   I think Shambley has a huge year ahead here in 2026. We're all going to have to watch out for him this fall.      [player_tooltip player_id='1629160' first='Elijah' last='Tarver'] is an explosive RB from Carver who's having a huge offseason with his recruitment.   “Tarver spent the day at camp competing at RB and really caught my eye- he plays with a ton of speed, has great size, and can easily make defenders miss- it's impressive to watch.   Tarver makes the most out of every carry- he's incredibly quick, plays with great speed, and is a massive threat in the open field, coming away with some huge plays on the ground.“   Tarver had a busy week, adding new offers from Navy, Austin Peay, ETSU, Alabama A&M, and more.   I think we can expect big things from Tarver this upcoming season. He's a talented back who's produced a ton for his team's offense. There's a lot to look forward to next fall.      [player_tooltip player_id='2118765' first='Eugene' last='Tasie'] is a breakout star from last season. What he did on Buckhorn's OL last season was super impressive to watch.   "Tasie is a dominant run blocker who thrives off his size, strength, and mobility. At 6'5 285, Tasie explodes off the snap and moves really well at his size to provide wide rushing lanes for his teammates.   I love watching Tasie's effort and motor at work. He goes 100% and finishes every single snap, paving defenders into the dirt for some highlight reel blocks. We're all going to have to watch for him this upcoming season- he opens up so much of what Buckhorn can do offensively."   Last week, Tasie announced he'd picked up an offer from North Alabama! With his talent, I'm sure there will be more heading his way. He's shown a ton of impressive things on tape his last two years.      [player_tooltip player_id='1540824' first='Sam' last='Sollie'] is a talented passer from Gadsden City who's seen his recruitment take off this past week.   "Sollie already has some impressive skills as a passer- he has serious arm strength he uses to push the ball downfield and fit it through tight windows, consistently making tough throws all around the field.   I'm really impressed with how quickly Sollie gets the ball out. He's a good decision-maker with the ball and can quickly scan the field and hit his targets right after the snap. Sollie has a ton of potential for Gadsden City's offense going forward. He can make some huge plays from the pocket and off script- it's going to be exciting watching him over the next few years."   Sollie has been on fire this month, adding new offers from Mississippi State, Florida, Boston College, and several others.   It's awesome to see Sollie get the attention he's picked up recently. He's been a talented piece of Gadsden City's offense the last few years and is sure to have another big year ahead this fall.
