2023 Film Review: Jessie plays with a wide base, and can get hands on defenders quickly. He brings excellent lower body strength to drive defenders out of the play and create big running lanes. He can block to the second level or the edge in the running game, and is a wall in pass protection. Jesse plays with great posture, hips, feet and can handle defenders of any size. He brings size, strength and skill to the trenches; certainly one to watch this summer.

The rising sophomore was a solid offensive lineman this season. He is a reclassified sophomore from Beekmantown Central School in West Chazy, NY to Milton Academy in Massachusetts. The word is he is also a very good shot putter who competes at a very high level. On the gridiron, he fell right into place this season competing in the Independence School League under the NEPSAC umbrella. A quick glance at this season’s film shows good athletic coordination and is comfortable in getting in position to pass pro, punch, and anchor in place. He plays with good leverage when run blocking. He may need to slim down a bit to develop and gain additional foot fire on contact, a more effective base, be more effective getting to the second level, and be able to run in space (thinking: screens, too). He does have the frame and tools to play at the next level. His physical measurables align with Div 1- FBS group of 5 and/or Div -1 High FCS Offensive lineman.

was a player whose tape I loved and I could not wait to get him involved in the rankings. However, at Beekmantown in Section XII Giddings likely knew that recruitment opportunities would be tough to come by. Giddings is transferring to Milton Academy in Massachusetts. I also believe Giddings will be reclassifying to 2026 which is a big deal. Three more seasons of high level football and development will be huge for Giddings who already has the size at 6’3 325lbs. Going from Section XII which has limited football opportunities to a top program in New England is huge for Giddings.
