is an intriguing young two-way athlete who brings a combination of speed, physicality, and versatility to the Golden Hawks. At running back, his 185-pound frame gives him the ability to run with power while still possessing the athleticism to create plays in space. At cornerback, his quickness and competitiveness allow him to challenge opposing receivers. Rogers’ two-way ability makes him a valuable developmental piece for Council Rock South. Expect him to continue carving out a role as he gains valuable varsity experience.

The margin between becoming an average Division III recruit and a priority target at that level can be surprisingly small, and Jerry RogersJerryRogers

has an opportunity to close it. I would like to see him become a more physical runner between the tackles, consistently finishing through contact instead of allowing defenders to end plays on first contact. Creating hidden yards often separates college backs from productive high school backs. I have gone back and questioned whether I left him a little too low in this update. Another strong season could make this evaluation look much different a year from now.
