With his selection to the 2024 8th Grade Georgia Future Stars,

completes the three-peat of selections to this team during his middle school years. Seeing his name year after year should not surprise anyone, as he has established himself as one of top interior linemen in the state for the class of 2028. Up two inches and 25 pounds since last year, Magee is now listed at 6-foot-2 and 315-pounds of road grader on the offensive line. In last year’s Future Stars Game he started as a defensive tackle and at guard, I could see a similar scenario this year–but offensive line looks like the future here.

aka “Highway 78” is a two time Future Stars player with a couple of Lineman of the Year awards in his back pocket. This 6’0 290lb OG/DT has the goods to be a difference maker in the trenches. You can try to attack him down the middle, only to be absorbed by his padded mid section that comes with two strong punches that will stop a buffalo in its tracks. Or you can pick a side, only to be stabbed by a same arm, same leg strike that will open you up to Magee driving you into your own player creating a pile up. I like the pad level this kid plays with and understanding exactly who he is. He’s the anchor and Magee is not content with just blocking his man, he wants to finish him every play.

– Magee was a solid performer on both sides of the line for the Georgia 7th Grade Future Stars, starting at guard and defensive tackle
– Built very similarly to

–who played offensive tackle on his side–but even thicker at 6-foot and 290 pounds
– All the talented backs on the Georgia Future Stars team had to love running behind the 2028 prospect, as he was nothing short of a road grader up front
– Going to list him as an offensive lineman at this point, but could easily see him becoming strictly a defensive tackle. With his size, wide base and strength, he has the potential to become a highly recruited player

MaGee has a strong, flexible core, and the ability to absorb and anchor against the bull rush as a pass protector. He has strong arms and a powerful grip, and MaGee displays the core strength and leg drive that allow him to create movement at the line of scrimmage. Showing some nastiness to his game, he will sustain blocks through the whistle, thriving when he’s in the phone booth.
