showed again why he’s one of the best two-way players in Class 2A. On offense, Pendergraft finished with nearly 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns from the running back position. On defense, Pendergraft finished the night with 12 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also blocked a punt on special teams. The Trojans will now face Alva with a spot in the semifinals on the line Friday afternoon.

In Class 2A, arguably the top game this week takes place in Tulsa as #5 Victory Christian hosting #6 Kiefer with the district championship on the line. Kiefer is looking to close out the perfect regular season at 10-0 and they’ll get a big test from a Victory Christian team that can absolutely light up the scoreboard. Kiefer senior standout

is a player that we’ll have our eye on coming into this contest considering the overall impact he can have on a game. On offense, Pendergraft provides power running from the running back position. On defense, he is a tackling machine and he’ll look to put pressure on a Victory Christian quarterback that has been outstanding all season. Pendergraft is a player that impressed us in October when we got a chance to see Kiefer in person. Pendergraft is one of several two-way players to watch in this game.

was a star on Thursday night for both sides of the ball. On offense, Pendergraft would finish with 34 yards on eight carries and he scored the game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter that put them up 22-7. But there is no doubt that Pendergraft’s top moments on Thursday came on the defensive side of the ball. It didn’t matter where he was lined up on defense, he was getting after the Kansas quarterback and there were quite a few times when he would barely get off a throw before hitting the grass, courtesy of Pendergraft. We think that he’s an underrated linebacker in this 2024 class as a hard hitter that can move.

was one of the more disruptive defensive players in Class 2A last season. Pendergraft is listed on the roster as a defensive end or linebacker but he certainly measures out as a linebacker when you talk about him as a prospect. And then you see the production and there’s a serious chance for him to end up earning an opportunity to play at the next level. Last season, Pendergraft finished with nearly 125 tackles on the season and had to be one of the state’s leaders in tackles for loss with an eye-popping 41 tackles for loss on the year. He also added 12 sacks and will look to be even more disruptive for the Trojans this season.
