For a sophomore, Jax plays like a varsity vet who’s already seen every coverage in the book — the yardage and touchdowns are piling up, but it’s the way he gets them that jumps off the screen. Through seven games he’s completed 69% of his passes for 2,383 yards and 35 touchdowns, averaging roughly 340 yards a game — absurd production for anyone, let alone a 10th‑grader. Hamilton’s offense is rolling because he’s throwing with anticipation and pace, layering seams and slot fades like he’s been doing it for years, then turning around and hitting tight windows on the quick-hitters. The chemistry with fellow sophomore standout

is weekly fireworks: timed deep outs, in‑stride verticals, and red‑zone placement that lets his guy win without breaking stride. You can hang your hat on the efficiency — 18 completions a game at nearly 19 yards per attempt — and the explosives keep coming because he’s decisive. It’s video‑game volume with grown‑up timing, and the scoreboard reflects it in boatloads.

brings a calm, confident presence to the position, and he plays with the kind of presence that you love to see in a young quarterback. He’s got good size and knows how to use it, extending throws with his frame and getting solid power behind the ball. What really stands out, though, is how smooth and natural his motion looks — the release is quick, the footwork is steady, and everything feels in rhythm. He’s consistently able to fit the ball into tight windows without forcing it, showing off a strong understanding of where his receivers are going to be. It’s methodical, but not slow — just calculated and controlled. With the kind of athletes he’ll face in the 6A, how he adjusts under pressure will be telling, but there’s no doubt he’s got the poise and skill set to thrive.

Sculley is an advanced QB for a freshman. 6’3” 180 lbs. he’s got good length in his frame to get added extension on his throws giving him plus arm strength. Throws a good ball with smooth arm action and a quick release. Shows he can put velocity on the ball to the short/intermediate level to fit it in a tight window or throw with touch downfield. Does a good throwing his receivers open and placing it to allow his receivers to run after the catch. Precise with his footwork in the pocket, his feet are calm throughout his drop back landing with a well-balanced throwing platform to boost his quick delivery and accuracy. High football IQ and good field vision to see coverage, quick and decisive with his reads to make smart decisions with the football and not force it into coverage. Like his ability to go through his progression and find the open man. Picked up his initial college offer from Southern Miss in January and will shoot up the rankings as he gains varsity experience.

. As just a freshman in 2024, Sculley has already shown maturity and poise beyond his years. At 6’1″ and 165 pounds, he’s got the size and skill set to develop into one of Arizona’s top quarterbacks. What sets Sculley apart isn’t just his impressive arm strength—though he’s more than capable of firing the ball through tight windows — it’s his football IQ. Sculley consistently demonstrates an uncanny ability to make smart decisions under pressure. He’s the kind of quarterback who knows where the ball needs to go before the snap, thanks to his pre-snap reads and understanding of the game. And if his first option isn’t there? No problem. He’s quick to adjust, finding secondary options and keeping the offense moving. Off the field, he’s just as impressive, earning a spot on the Sports360AZ All-Academic Football Team with a 4.0 GPA.
