Han is one of my favorite players in the state, relative to his current recruiting interest. He’s a talented, multi-faceted lineman who can down block, pull, and pass block with few holes in his game. Due to his relative lack of length, he’ll move inside from his right tackle position in college, but his ability to reach on blocks in the running game and pull (he excels on counters) means the transition should be smooth.

Despite being a bit undersized, Han is a scouting favorite of mine, a quick and powerful right tackle with plenty of pop in the running game. He’s excellent when he pulls and he climbs well to the second level. He really improved his pad level and anchor as a junior and with a bit more weight, he’s a true FCS recruit.

James Han James Han 6'2" | 255 lbs | OL Middle Creek | 2027 State NC is a good-looking prospect who comes into our rankings 3rd overall. James had a strong sophomore season, earning All-Conference honors for a good Middle Creek team. When you look at the film, James is an absolute monster on down blocks, he often crushes defensive linemen into the ground, creating large gaps for his backs to run through. In pass protection, James does a good job of moving his feet and staying in front of pass rushers. The bonus at his young age is James does a good job of long pulling and skip pulling and leading up on linebackers at the second level of the defense.
