Expert Analysis
Will Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
Griffin isn’t the biggest guy, but he can absolutely fly, having recently won the state championship in the 55-meter hurdles and competing nationally in the 400 meters. His elite track ability eats into his time on the gridiron, but when he’s on the field, he’s a threat to take anything to the endzone, whether as a receiver or returner. He’s not a bad defensive back, either.

Griffin is a true athlete, but here we’re ranking him among the receivers. A special teams threat, too, Griffin excels after the catch, and though he only had 11 catches on the season, the rising senior should have plenty of opportunities as the potential top option on a team that loses three senior wideouts.

Griffin is an excellent athlete and gadget guy for Riverside’s offense, and he played excellent down the stretch, racking up half of his catches and well over half of his season yardage in the final three games. Though he’s on the smaller side, he’s tough to bring down. He should have plenty of opportunities to get the ball as a junior.
